Five years ago, six colleagues took part, but this year a record 39 running and walking enthusiasts crossed the start and finish line as Team BVS. For most colleagues, the focus was not on the fastest time, but on the fun of the team experience and celebrating together at the team pavilion. Internal logistics modernized
As the interface between production processes, incoming goods, warehouse and dispatch, internal logistics plays an important role in production companies. Since this fall, internal transport work at BVS Blechtechnik has been even faster, contributing to a more efficient production process. The internal material flow has been restructured with the help of new storage system technology, the use of barcodes and a strengthened logistics team. Read more

IHK honors training ambassadors
In the past school year, our apprentice Fabian Schäfer was present at three schools as a training ambassador and informed pupils about the opportunities of vocational training as a construction mechanic. Together with other training ambassadors and senior ambassadors, our trainee was presented with a certificate for his commitment by the Böblingen Chamber of Industry and Commerce at a ceremony. On the modern production facilities, the specialists manufacture products from thin sheet metal for a wide range of technical applications. Contract extension BVS Chenghua
What began ten years ago with the founding of the joint venture BVS Chenghua Co., Ltd. in China is now a solid relationship with the partner company. BVS Blechtechnik customers from the electrical engineering and medical technology industries value and trust the services of the Chinese sheet metal processor. To mark the 10th anniversary, the management traveled to Jinan in March to thank the company for the successful collaboration by extending the contract for another ten years. Read more
Training fairs
The training department and trainees from BVS Blechtechnik took part in two training fairs on the first weekend in March. Both in Sindelfingen at the Realschule am Klostergarten and at the Jerg-Ratgeb-Realschule in Herrenberg, the BVS representatives were in great demand when it came to describing the training as a construction mechanic in more detail. The crowds of schoolchildren were huge. In Herrenberg, visitors initially stood right outside. The secondary school students took the opportunity to gain a first impression of a future training company from the 50 to 60 companies and educational institutions represented. Read more
Robot powder coating system
At BVS Blechtechnik, we also pay attention to “external values”. Our fully automatic powder coating system is responsible for this, which gives the sheet metal parts their coat of paint. At the beginning of the year, this was equipped with two new powder robots from the company. CMA Robotics modernizes. Thanks to the simple, self-learning programming of the robots, the various metal components receive a faster and more precise coating for protection, finishing or as a design element. Read more
TruBend5130 press brake
The latest of the 12 NC-controlled press brakes at BVS Blechtechnik is the TruBend 5130X. For a few weeks now, the manual bending machine with its adapted tools has been handling a wide range of products, from simple to complex components – for small to 1000-piece quantities. It scores points with its easy-to-use programming system for automatic calculation of the bending program. Read more
