In the World Meteorological Organization’s (WMO) report on global warming, climate researchers warn that it is urgently necessary to set ambitious climate targets now. As a manufacturing company, BVS Blechtechnik has been trying for many years to make an active contribution to the environmentally friendly production of industrial goods with its environmental goals. The switch to the use of green electricity, investments in energy-saving production machinery and incentives for employees to use “job bikes” are just some of the approaches to sustainability that we pushed ahead with in 2019. Amada Ventis 3015 AJ

“The world’s first fiber laser of a new generation” is the official system description of the Amada Ventis 3015 AJ. The management at BVS was already convinced of the performance of the system installed since September 2019 when it was presented at the Euroblech 2018. The new fibre laser technology cuts stainless steel, steel and aluminium in a cutting quality similar to a CO² laser while using less energy. Read more

New press brake

Precise bending for flexible requirements
Since July, the bending area at BVS Blechtechnik has comprised a total of 14 machines. The latest NC-controlled press brake will enable the specialists to produce versatile folded parts even more effectively in the future. Whether small or large formats, simple or complex components – the new press brake is ideal for BVS Blechtechnik’s wide range of products. Its optimized control system with simple operation enables rapid and high-precision bending. Read more

30th anniversary of BVS Blechtechnik

30 years full of commitment, challenges, interesting customer projects and continuous development of the company – that was reason enough for BVS Blechtechnik to celebrate its anniversary with its business partners. Business Meeting Automation

Automation, digitalization and Industry 4.0 are buzzwords that are currently on everyone’s lips. At the Hamburg Business Meeting “The future of automation – defying the shortage of skilled workers and being successful worldwide!”, specialists from business and science discussed what automation means. Internal logistics modernized

As the interface between production processes, incoming goods, warehouse and dispatch, internal logistics plays an important role in production companies. Since this fall, internal transport work at BVS Blechtechnik has been even faster, contributing to a more efficient production process. The internal material flow has been restructured with the help of new storage system technology, the use of barcodes and a strengthened logistics team. Read more

Airfield run 2018

The BVS team once again took part in the 7th Flugfeld company run in Böblingen. Five years ago, six colleagues took part, but this year a record 39 running and walking enthusiasts crossed the start and finish line as Team BVS. For most colleagues, the focus was not on the fastest time, but on the fun of the team experience and celebrating together at the team pavilion. Whether trainee or about to retire, authorized signatory or team leader – everyone had a great time, especially after crossing the finish line. Read more
