Young talents start their training at BVS
A “warm welcome” to our three new construction mechanic/ sheet metal technology trainees. The young men have been working hard in our team since September and will be learning sheet metal working skills such as filing, sawing and drilling in the training workshop over the next few weeks. In the following 3 to 3.5 years, they will spend time in many production areas and operate and program our CNC punching/laser machines and press brakes, for example. Practical training on real customer projects is on our agenda, so we train our junior staff specifically for the requirements of our production operations.

Investments aligned with positive business development
The year 2021 begins with new momentum and optimism at the BVS Group: many existing customers are significantly increasing their orders and a major project for a newly acquired customer will start in the coming months. In the wake of these promising business developments, the BVS Group teams have been busy installing a total of eight new machines and systems in the production halls. In the first quarter of 2021, a punch-laser combination machine, an automatic bending system, five welding cells with robots and a lathe were put into operation. Read more
Welding cell with robot fast and flexible in use
Another welding robot complements the automated sheet metal processing at BVS Blechtechnik. In the TruArc Weld 1000 welding cell from Trumpf, the welding robot is very easy to program and can be used profitably even for small quantities. Increased welding requirements for new projects and recurring parts make the investment in the compact machine worthwhile. Read more
Punch-laser combination machine with fiber laser for everything
BVS has turned “old” into “new”. After eleven years of operation, a punch-laser combination machine from Trumpf was replaced by a new TruMatic 6000 with fiber laser. The system with solid-state laser enables the processing of a wide range of materials, such as non-ferrous metals, stainless steel or galvanized sheet metal. The efficient punch-laser combination machine also contributes to significant energy savings in the production area. Read more
Lissmac SMW 545 gives metal parts a beautiful appearance
“Good tools are half the work”, as the saying goes. For BVS Blechtechnik as a highly automated production company, this means in a figurative sense: without efficient technology, no process optimization. The recently installed Lissmac SMW 545 wet sanding machine improves work performance in the area of surface sanding. The system, which consists of four units, rounds effectively so that internal and external contours are deburred simultaneously. Read more
Certified quality according to standard 9100 for aerospace industry
Two years ago, BVS Systemtechnik started the production of components and assemblies for industrial applications in Schwerin. From the first sheet metal part produced, the well-trained specialists focused on high-quality results. TÜV Rheinland confirmed the lived quality awareness in sheet metal processing of BVS Systemtechnik. The new plant has been certified according to DIN EN 9100, the standard for the aerospace industry and to ISO 9001 since August 2020. Read more

Training of young talents provides for second growth in the company
The training of young talents has been a tradition at BVS Blechtechnik for over 20 years. In autumn 1999, the first two apprentices started their professional lives as construction mechanics and are still involved in production today as team leaders and machine operators. In the last two decades, a total of 54 young construction mechanics or metalworkers and a specialist for warehouse logistics have received their sound appreniceship at BVS in sheet metal processing.
