BVS Blechtechnik implemented quality management for the first time back in 1997 and has therefore met the quality requirements of the ISO 9002 and ISO 9001:2015 standards for 25 years. BVS supports SpesMea Nepal e.V.

Sponsors wanted: thanks to donations, children in Nepal can look forward to going to school

Andrea Berner, the founder of SpesMea Nepal e.V., only returned from her annual trip to the remote village of Hill in the Solukhumbu region, south of Mount Everest, at the end of April. She personally delivered the collected donations to the poor families and, with the help of sponsorships, is currently enabling 79 children to make a small contribution to their school attendance. Three siblings, Kandi, Chonge and Kanchi, are now pupils at a school in Kathmandu, where they live in a hostel far away from their families and make the most of their opportunity for education. Over 21 years ago, the BVS management set an important milestone in the company’s history with the commissioning of an assembly hall. Thanks to the 1,800 m² hall, the company has been able to meet the demands of many new customers from the medical technology, electrical engineering, telecommunications and aviation sectors since the beginning of the 2000s. Additional TruPunch 5000 punching machine serves high order backlog
We fulfill almost every customer request. And when two major customers increase their order volume by up to 140% and signal even more potential, the management of BVS Blechtechnik pulls out all the stops to expand production capabilities and make quick adjustments. Since March, a second TruPunch 5000 punching machine from Trumpf has been taking over the enormous demand for punched parts, including forming and countersinking. Read more

BVS training ambassadors whet pupils’ appetite for training
Whether it’s a lecture, online conference, workshop or training course, the assignments as a training ambassador are diverse. Dennis, Leon and Louis, apprentices at BVS, show pupils why it’s worth starting a dual apprenticeship. They are three of 700 IHK training ambassadors who have been actively involved in a total of 687 school assignments in the Böblingen district over the last ten years. Read more

After a short production time at the machine manufacturer Trumpf, the punching system arrived at BVS Blechtechnik today and is being positioned and installed at our plant in Böblingen. Read more

Help for children with cancer, school children in India and Nepal
This year we are again happy to be able to give medical care, schooling, food and thus a piece of happiness to those in need with our donations to three organizations. Our thanks go to the staff and organizers of the children’s cancer station of the Olgahospital in Stuttgart, the Gandhi-Club Deutschland e.V. and the association for Nepal aid SpesMea Nepal e.V. for their great commitment to children. Global raw material problems challenge BVS Purchasing
Plants of car manufacturers such as BMW, Opel or Mercedes are or were at a standstill. The construction industry is complaining about extreme price increases for timber. According to a survey by the ifo Institute, 77.4% of industrial companies in Germany reported bottlenecks in the procurement of primary products and raw materials in September. Our purchasing department is also a long way from “normal operations”. Postponements, alternative requests and price adjustments are on the agenda.
