Certification BVS Systemtechnik

Certified quality according to standard 9100 for aerospace industry
Two years ago, BVS Systemtechnik started the production of components and assemblies for industrial applications in Schwerin. From the first sheet metal part produced, the well-trained specialists focused on high-quality results. TÜV Rheinland confirmed the lived quality awareness in sheet metal processing of BVS Systemtechnik. The new plant has been certified according to DIN EN 9100, the standard for the aerospace industry and to ISO 9001 since August 2020.

The BVS Systemtechnik team has manufactured consoles and other components for aircraft seats from the beginning, soon orders for mechanical engineering and the electrotechnical industry followed. “You can rely on our efficient production and tested quality according to the requirements of the international aerospace industry,” Harald Steiner, Managing Director of BVS Systemtechnik, confirms to his customers. At the ultra-modern laser cutting machines or automatic bending systems work specialists according to these quality management standards.

The DIN EN 9100 standard is fully in line with the most widely used ISO 9001 standard and imposes additional requirements, which are essential for the aviation sector in terms of safety, quality and reliability.

With the systematic quality management we continuously check and optimize all essential operational processes, of course the workflows are clearly documented. In addition, certification to DIN EN 9100 places particular emphasis on risk analysis and assessment, supplier monitoring, the traceability of all raw materials and materials used, and the avoidance of counterfeit parts, among other things. Standards are also defined for dealing with special processes, such as welding.

Obviously the specialist welders are masters of their craft at BVS Systemtechnik, as evidenced by their welding certificate in accordance with ISO 3834. Moreover Sebastian Schewe takes care of the quality assurance by measuring finished components and comparing them to the 3D model. Individual test reports will be issued on request.
