New transformer station: sustainability & energy efficiency:

Our new transformer station was delivered on 16.02.2026 – an important milestone for our further development.
The station will go into operation in the course of this half-year and completely replace our previous system housed in the plant.

A special highlight:
The new transformer station is equipped with an eSaver from the company eSaver GmbH from Ehningen is integrated into the new transformer station. This will enable us to save around 12% of our annual electricity consumption in future.

For us, this project shows once again:
👉 Investments in sustainability are not an end in themselves – they also pay off economically.
👉 At the same time, we are consistently modernizing our technical infrastructure and making it fit for the future.

We are particularly pleased that we are working with eSaver GmbH a strong partner from the region at our side. Regional cooperation, short distances and a shared understanding of sustainable solutions – this is exactly how we envision a sustainable industry.

Commissioning of new air compressors: Today we can finally introduce ourselves:

We are called DRYPOINT RA and are part of the new air compressors in the BVS Blechtechnik production team.

What can we do/what do we do?

We are significantly more energy efficient than our predecessors, for comparison:

We are at the start with 12.5 m³ / min, while our predecessors only managed 6 m³ / min. Our team consists of two machines, whereas our predecessors worked with three.

Our work shift is organized in pairs on a weekly basis, whereas our predecessors always worked in pairs and a third machine rested. ;-)

This means that two of us can manage the work of three appliances in the past and one of us is always on standby as a backup.

A few more interesting facts about us:

We consist of 2 units each, i.e. the air compressors and the corresponding refrigeration dryers.
The higher-level control system (=airleader) also ensures energy efficiency with alternating pressure control.
The speed-controlled pressure can be kept constant.
Thanks to the improved encapsulation, we are significantly quieter, quieter and easier to maintain than our predecessors.

The heat feedback of the air compressor uses the waste heat generated to reuse energy efficiently. This heat is used specifically to bring the process baths in our powder coating to the required temperature. This is energy efficiency in action.

We are very pleased with our beautiful, new, elevated space with plenty of visibility in the middle of the punching/laser area. This space has the advantage that we are not exposed to such high ambient temperatures as our predecessors.
